More fossil fuels are being burned, so the Earth is getting hotter. With all this heat the glaciers are melting faster, adding more water to the oceans. That's why sea levels are rising. Scientist predict that by 2100 the ocean will rise about 2.5-6.5 feet. But scientist also predict that the oceans will rise about 23 feet adding that the Greenland ice sheets melt completely.
