This can lead to things like depression, or loneliness as they can't fit into there new surroundings. For example many young players across the country have to move into accommodation through their football clubs, just to be able to go to training. This can lead to problems such as drugs as players have much more spare time and also money to spend on activities such as this. Another high profile player who struggles with living away from home is Di Maria in his time at Manchester he struggled with the lifestyle and the new environment. He struggled with this because he had to adjust to many changes in Manchester such as the weather, language barrier and live in an area where he only knew a few people. This then led to him leaving Manchester as he was unhappy and stressed with his living conditions.
