A typical day looks like this: considering you got the audition for the main character, you would be showing up in the morning on set, at whatever time you were told. Then you would have a couple hours of rehearsal, and some breaks. During the rehearsal you are figuring out blocking, or where to stand, how to say your lines, and working on having a connection with your co-stars, directors, and crew. If the scenes have a musical part, you are either recording the song in the sound booth, or you are working on rehearsing the dance with the rest for the cast and extras. After rehearsals, you get into costume, hair, and makeup for a couple hours, then go on the set again and start filming.
