         <title>Stage 1: Trust vs. Mistrust</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first phase in Erikson's stages of psychosocial development is Trust vs. Mistrust and this is a very important phase. This stage takes place during ages of birth to 18 months. During this stage an infant is only dependent on its parent to give it everything it needs to survive, making this stage very important. During this stage a child develops a sense of trust when care is given as needed. </div>]]></description>
