Hermione laughs and pushes playfully at his shoulder. 
They've been talking for a long while, and Hermione is exhausted from all her work, though she'd never admit it. She yawns, and right there falls asleep on top of her book. (See the Dramione FanArt!) 
Draco smirks in a gentle way down at her and then kisses her head and tenderly drapes his green and silver cloak over her so she won't be cold. Then he falls asleep on top of his homework, his hand now holding hers.

Draco is sulking in his room in the dungeons. His shoulders are sagging. He wonders why why he had to tease Hagrid. If he hadn't, maybe he wouldn't have upset Hermione. What Potter and Weaelbee don't realize He thought bitterly Is now Hermione and I are going to be equally upset. 
After Hermione had punched him, in the stunned silence that followed, Hermione had mouthed We're done. With a sort of finality that meant she meant business. She wasn't coming back after that, ever. He had lost his girlfriend forever only 3 months after they had first gotten together. He started to cry, bitterly. Hermione was his entire galaxy, but Draco was only one of her stars. She had probably gone right back to Ron now. It had taken him 3 years to show her his sensitive side in the library a few months ago when she was helping him write the essay on werewolves. When she'd woken up with Draco beside her, in his cloak, holding his hand, she finally realized he could be sweet and sensitive sometimes, and they started meeting more often in the library. Those last 3 months had been the best of his life when he was meeting Hermione. Now she was gone. All these thoughts rushed through his head at the speed of light, drowning out all other noise until another voice broke through. "Draco?" It was weak, tired, and watery. He glanced up. Hermione's bushy brown hair was matted with water as if she'd just taken a shower. Her eyes were red and puffy, but she looked as beautiful as ever. Draco wiped his eyes and tried to fix his face into a scowl, but he found he couldn't. It was just impossible to stay mad at Hermione. Besides, she looked sad enough as it was. He didn't need to make that worse. Moreover, he didn't want to make it worse. He wanted to be there for Hermione. So he held his arms out. She blinked back tears and smiled weakly and then rushed towards him, into his arms. They sat that way for a long time.
"Hey, Hermione?" Draco finally said. 
"Yeah?"
"How'd you know how to get into the dungeons." 
"Oh, Harry and Ron told me. Last year they snuck in during Christmas break and used polyjuice potion to turn into Crabbe and Goyle so they could figure out whether or not you were the heir of Slytherin."
"WHAT?" 
"Oh, you knew they would. Everyone thought you were."
"Not you though, right?"
She hesitated, then smiled. 
"Oh, shut up. You know I did. Just hold me for a while."
She kissed him, then they sat there in thoughtful silence for a little longer. 
"I'm sorry, Draco. I was an idiot. I shouldn't have punched you."
"It's alright, I was asking for it. 
"That," She said. "Is true."
He laughed.
"Just don't go teasing Hagrid again, you hear me?"
"Yes ma'am." 
"No more nonchalance as well"
Draco grinned and kissed her again. Despite the coldness of the dungeons, there was a warmth, a flame, in Hermione that couldn't be quenched. No matter where she was, It was always there. That gave Draco hope.
