Six months following the Indian govt's revoking of Kashmir's semi-autonomous status and subsequent internet shutdown, the Supreme court has returned some accessibility to residents. However, the availability is limited to 350~ sites, not including social media or major Indian publications. The court's ruling hence may be more nuanced, as it only questions the extent of the shutdown but not the govt's right to do so.

There are interesting finds about how many sites are unserviceable. Streaming services being included feels bizarre as they are practically unusable with the permitted 2G network. Basis of whitelisting domains unknown. Thread updated as the number of websites whitelisted grows.
