         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Olympic Games first was shown to the people in Greece back in 776 b.c.. But thanks to the German archaeologists they have discovered that in the 6th century AD an earthquake destroyed the stadium and a landslide buried the ruins. And then again in 1896 they start the Olympic Games again but because of Baron Pierre the Olympic's were just for males. It stayed that way until 1900 when the woman started to be able to play in the Games, and because of all the people who made the Olympic's happen people from all over America can enjoy both the Winter Olympic's and the Summer Olympic's.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>776 B.C.,  the date of the Olympic Games, in Greece and over 40,000 spectators attended the first games. At first it was just for males and women weren't allowed,  but in 1900 women were now allowed to attend. In the 6th century an earthquake ruined the stadium and a landslide buried the ruins. In 1896, The ruined stadium was discovered and Baron Pierre de Coubertin revived the stadium.   Only thirteen countries participated at the beginning, but now there are sixteen countries, and now many people enjoy watching all the well-trained athletes</div>]]></description>

When the games all started, they were small but now 16 countries participate. Men and women are eligible to compete in the present but not until 1900 could women do that.
