With some classes we start by writing the summary  - two or three students contribute to that task each time. With other classes, more organized and self regulated, we don't write summary, I start with questions, verifing that everyone, during the week, answer at least one time. 
There is always an effort to recall every subject to real life, to themes of everyday life, so my lessons are made mostly of dialogues - not every students are confortable talking...

Q 2 - So... and if we talk about subjects they like? online games, movies, songs, football... no theme is off limits, as long as everyone is envolved.
Then we work with the Philosophers' voices (text) and do exercises (writen). Schemes, conceptual maps, quick questions... these are some activities we do.

Q 3 -  I think I lack more diversity in the ativities. Sometimes I use mentimeter as a way for them to place questions without being judge by the other students. There is always someone who puts a silly question that makes us all laugh but most questions are important. See them as person, listen to them, to their desires, their hopes. Keep in mind that they're teenagers - there is a LOT of things they dont know BUT they have their own life experience and sometimes, I don't even begin to wonder what they have been through.
W - I talk to much. Sometimes I just wish they do what I'm asking - some students are to afraid to take a risk (grades are to important) and I dont know how to challenge them. An this year, working with teachers, I feel the same...

Most of my students are very afraid to make mistakes in general: they only want to do what is right tor their grade (without much trouble!)
I want to be able to put all my students to work on their own pace and to be self regulated learners.
