This element gives teachers various choices to use with their students to show what the students learned or had questions about from the days lessons. Students can write down what they learned in a journal. They can also write them in an academic notebook from cloud-based software. Students can also record their thoughts on audio recording software. Blogs and wikis are also great choices for students to use. Then students are to compare their new knowledge with knowledge they already knew.

1. Reflective Journals- Technology can enhance reflective journals by allowing a students to use audio to record what they would like to add to their journal. This is great for younger students that can't spell or write fast yet. They are also great for dyslexic students that struggle with spelling and other learning disabled students.

2. Knowledge comparison- Technology can enhance knowledge comparison by identifying critical information, previewing new content, chunking content into digestible bites, and reflecting on learning.

Implementation Tips for Using Each Strategy

1. Reflective Journals- an implementation tip for using reflective journals is to use the auditory recording to help students that need help with spelling and writing. This could also be implemented at the end of the day. I teach kindergarten and I feel that this could easily be used at the end of the day. I could ask each student to tell me what they learned today and they would tell me and then the recording will be kept in a journal.

2. Knowledge comparison- an implementation tip for using knowledge comparison would be to ask students what they know about the subject before the teacher teaches it. This would be recorded. When the time comes to talk about what was learned that day the response will be recorded then they teacher could go back and show the students what they learned from what they already knew.
