The struggles we are currently having involve assessing DCI, CCC, and SEPS as well as aligning PEs to evidence statements.

I will feel even better after starting work on the essentials to teach to them with my colleagues. I feel the challenges lie in making clear, coherent connections between the 3-dimensions. I think it will be really good for kids and their understanding of science and how it's done. I think my challenge around this is making sure I am using the language correctly as I explain to non-science folks like my administration.

It was additionally a relief as well as a concern to hear about the lack of emphasis on science and hence the apathy towards the NGSS (administrators).
