This Performance, as many pieces by Pentatonics, breaks many barriers in classical interpretations. It provides an interesting take, but the vanguard musical arrangement takes away from the understanding of the text, instead of complementing it, which the more classical interpretations do very well.

This version of the song is extremely good at using the musicality of the singers to convey emotion, of emphasising the text and making it shine with humour. It's great at making the poem alive, making great use of repetition and symbols as elements of poetic writting

Using my mobile phone to record the video and sound and Canva to compile it, I created this video with My Version of the 12 Days of Christmas. It is not a version filled with symbolism. It is a parody of typical things our teachers tell us, but it maintains its style of repetition and melody. One can clearly associate this sing to its original even without context, leaving it to be a great example of a parody to a poem/song
