         <description><![CDATA[<p>Edith Anne Stoney was born on January 6, 1869 and she died on June 25, 1938. She studied maths at the University of Cambridge but she changed her mind and studied physics at the University of London. She is considered the first female medical physicist. She is known for her service with X-ray machines on the front lines of World War I. She is remembered for her courage and ingenuity when she helped soldiers during extreme threats with her sister, Florence. After the war she became a physics teacher in the King's College for women.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Maria Magdalena Petraccini was born in Florence on 12 November 1759 into a family of Tuscan merchants.</p><p>In 1784 she married the physician and professor of anatomy Francesco Ferretti. Thanks to him, Petraccini became interested in surgery; Ferretti instructed her in this practice by operating on cadavers. So precise was her technique as a surgeon that, in September 1788, the Medical Board of Florence allowed her to enter its university at a time when medical practice was not open to women. So, on 13 September 1788, she became a medical student at the University of Florence. She was taught by eminent surgeons, and also became interested in obstetrics. Thereafter, Petraccini and her husband moved to Ferrara where she was able to continue her training. She graduated from the University of Ferrara where she later became a professor of anatomy.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Maria Alfredovna Glazovskaya was born in September 12 of 1885, and passed away on November 7 of 1969. Initially, she studied mathematics at Moscow State University but later switched to physics, graduating from the same institution. She is considered a innovator in the field of medical physics in Russia. Glazovskaya is renowned for her invaluable work with X-ray machines on the battlefronts during World War I. Her courage and creativity shone through as she provided assistance to soldiers in extreme situations, working with her sister, Olga. After the war, she devoted herself to teaching physics at Moscow State University and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Melba Roy Mouton was a prominent American mathematician and scientist, born on April 28, 1929, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She graduated in mathematics from the University of Arkansas and earned a master's degree from the University of Colorado.Mouton joined NASA in 1959, becoming one of the first African American women to work for the space agency. During her career at NASA, she played important roles in the development of space programs and made significant contributions to the success of missions such as the Apollo Program.She was a pioneer in the field of computing, using her mathematical skills to solve complex problems related to space navigation and flight trajectory design. Her work was instrumental in the development of navigation and control systems that enabled space missions to achieve their objectives with precision.Mouton was also an active advocate for diversity and inclusion in science and engineering. She advocated for equal opportunities for women and minorities in STEM fields and worked to promote the representation of people from different backgrounds in the scientific community.Her legacy endures as an example of excellence in science and technology, as well as a commitment to equality and justice.          <title>Margarita Salas </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Margarita Salas Falgueras was born in 1938 (Asturias) and was a Spanish biochemist, in addition to being a biochemist she was a molecular geneticist and university professor. She entered the Faculty of Chemistry in 1958 and there she met Severo Ochoa (Nobel Prize-winning scientist in medicine), who influenced her and guided her in biochemistry. In 1964 he travelled to the USA to the scientific department of the School of Medicine at New York University. Three years later they returned to Spain with American funding for the development of molecular biology, at which time she was not known for her contributions to science. At that time she was not known for her contributions to science, but for being the wife of Eladio Viñuelas (biochemist). Her work was not recognised because she was a woman, and she was a pioneer in work that until then had only been carried out by men.          <description><![CDATA[<p>She was born in Paris on July 30, 1947. She is a French biochemist and leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS in France. She was president of the International AIDS Society from 2012 to 2014.</p><p>She was awarded the 2008 Nobel Prize in Medicine for the discovery of HIV.</p><p>She was a scientist at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, she discovered HIV in 1983, winning the Nobel Prize in Medicine. Her research focuses on the immune response to viruses, HIV control and mother-child transmission. He has written 240 scientific publications, participated in international conferences and trained researchers. In addition, she has been active in the fight against AIDS at the national and international level.          <title>Irenê Curie</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Irene Curie was born in Paris as the daughter of Pierre and Marie Curie, who went on to become Nobel Laureates in physics and chemistry. Irene Curie worked together with her mother to provide mobile X-ray units during World War I. She resumed her studies at the university in Paris after the war and later worked at the institute that her parents had founded. It was there that she conducted her Nobel Prize-awarded work together with Frédéric Joliot, whom she married in 1926. The couple was politically active and worked to combat fascism and Nazism.
