For coding classes, we used small, square coding mats and colorful squares. Students created Christmas pictures and snowflakes out of them. We also had fun with coding on the multimedia board. The classes contributed to the development of many important skills in children, and especially brought them a lot of joy and satisfaction.

From the beginning of December, we decorate Christmas trees. Before Christmas, we meet Santa Claus. On December 31st, we celebrate New Year’s Eve. On January 6th, we celebrate Three Kings’ Day and take down the Christmas trees. On March 4th, we chase winter away – we celebrate Shrove Tuesday. We also take part in many winter activities and enjoy lots of seasonal fun.

The children made ice cream using simple ingredients, and the most interesting part was that we froze the ice cream in the snow. The children watched the process with great curiosity, mixed the ingredients, shook the containers, and waited for the result. This activity helped develop patience, curiosity, teamwork, and responsibility, because they had to follow the steps and work together. The children also improved their fine motor skills, learned to experiment, and understood that even simple things can turn into a fun discovery.

The Snowman Who Was Afraid of the Cold

Once there was a snowman named Snowy who was very afraid of the cold.
Whenever the wind blew, he shouted: “I’m cold! I need warm clothes!”
Then a little bird flew in and brought Snowy some warm boots.
A wolf came out of the forest and brought him a scarf.
After that, a fox appeared and gave him a nice hat.
Then a squirrel hopped over and gave Snowy a pair of warm gloves.
Snowy thanked his friends, got warmly dressed, and happily enjoyed winter together with all the animals.
