The first Socratic Seminar we did in the beginning of the year, was on the topic of "Civil Rights." The second seminar we did later on was for the topic,  "What was the most significant change/contribution Charles Dickens' novel A Christmas Carol made to the world." One of my positive experiences for the Socratic Seminar was when I stated my point, and two people agreed with me after one person disagreed.
