Erling Storrusten is a polish teen age boy that wanted to fight for his country. When ever the war started he was living in Poland and was working with his dad Jacob Storrusten at the train station. since the war started his mom and dad were taken to a camp and killed for taking kids in to their home. since his parents were killed he had to flee with him ad his skis to Sweden.

Erling was 16 when the war started so he wanted to make a stand for him and his country so he started giving newspapers out to the people down in the train tracks as he was going to school, so it was hard then he had to move schools. When he moved schools he met some friends and they did not anywhere to stay. So him and his mom took some of his friends and they live with each other till he had to flee to Sweden.

Erling died on June 10th 2018 at the age of 94 the reason that he died he had just died of old age.
