You've set up the dance that makes me believe whatever you do just follows the next thing. More than transitions, you could think about time in verious aspects. The first is in terms of speeds. First, the speed of movements now doesn't feel thought out enough. Second, how do you want each movement to resolve, or end? The beginning of each movement idea is clear, but the way they resolve before a new idea begins feels arbitrary. So many ways to resolve a phrase-- softly, with a bang, sharply, quickly, matter-of-factly, etc. Lots of options. Third, the stillnesses are as important as the movements in this dance. Can you get the rain sound to be constant so we don't hear the pause and the loop? Given what you are about to do in the second section, feel free to slow down, add mystery, and relax in the first section. It felt a little rushed. Even Ruson s entrance before opening the umbrella can take longer.
I agree that you need to set where you are looking. Ruson is looking down too much. And it seems like you could all be looking at each other much more while you are dancing. Having fun together. That was what the original trio were like in the movie. We got our pleasure from watching their love and friendship with each other.
Why is Madison so far upstage for her solo?
The only other thing I wonder about is Ruson framing the second section-- opening and closing with a solo. It gives the section the impression that it is Ruson's point of view. It's kind of mimed and I'm left wondering if I'm supposed to know what it is, although it's impossible for me to know. This can be a little off-putting for an audience member, where s/he/they are given signs of a story but not the means to decipher it.
On a broader level, I see definite and clear energy relationships between the bodies. However, it is clear that the choreographer has more on their mind, and needs to help me follow along.
Billy Wilder (movie director) once said there are two types of stories: the simple one that can be told elaborately (like a love story between a man and woman) and the complicated story that needs to be told simply (like a police drama full of twists and turns). I think you have the second story here. Miming giving something to someone is not obvious.

Something about those two lines on the side feels so severe and non-sequitor to the dance. Once the group starts moving, we can see wonderfully unpredictable and captivating material. The three couples making contact with each other in a vertical formation could be slightly staggered so we can see/feel the contact between them.
Nice transition to the two trios and as well as into the slow section. All the movement material is fascinating; some of the group forms could be tweaked. Variation in tempo and levels. Distance between them so much better. And timing pretty good. Maya's drop can hold a beat longer. Lots of movement happening; great movements; overall energy before accumulation could be higher.
The group squirming in a blob is awkward. It's a lovely image, but everyone looks uncomfortable in it, like they don't know why they're doing it, and everyone is trying to move too much in it. It can be softer, slower, less busy.

It still needs more elements as it progresses; it starts to feel repetitious, for example, going onto the knees and circling the torso. Too much of the same. There needs to be more variety, either with timing (rhythms, stillnesses, pauses, accents), or space (start in a more localized area and move out of it, and/or back into it), or steps (taking what you have and working with different initiations, or body parts, or levels, or isolations, etc.) . You could also just start out with less to make the build happen as well.

Nice contrast between the dancers. Good partnering and nice to see timings and ideas flushed out. Their moments of contact can be even MORE felt throughout their bodies. Dancers can have the tendency to feel the contact only with the part of their body IN the contact, but they need to make their whole body feel that point of contact. Then the audience can. Sometimes this means the contact needs a second longer....

Surprising developments of movement ideas. Wonderful work.
