Chapter 6 of Curriculum Foundations, Principles, and Issues made me know I viewed curriculum in a correlation design. When planning my curriculum for the year, I take the time to see which subjects can connect. Instead of just teaching each subject separately, I am sure to teach Social Studies (Native Americans) around the same time as my Language Arts (Corn Benchmark Advance unit), Food Chain (Life Science unit), and Writing (Legends). I didn't realize this had a design name. Since I specifically chose a school that matched my philosophy, the vision aligns. My TPDC aims to introduce technology to help educators utilize mathematics data for differentiated instruction. My philosophy directly influences technology and differentiated instruction. The math data isn't specified 
but is a vehicle for differentiation to help create intellectual individuals, not just the majority of the class. 

In addition, the educational philosophy of Progressivism is also seen in both, with the focus being on the how through problem-solving and critical thinking over the what. My TPDC focuses on various options for differentiating instruction for any grade rather than using one specific tool. My curriculum is student-centered, providing multiple opportunities for collaboration and reflection. My colleagues are the ones who plan their differentiation, with the educator being a facilitator. 

Lastly, when looking at my colleagues as students, my curriculum includes a safe space to share experiences and the knowledge to confidently take what they learn into their different classrooms, hopefully, a career they enjoy.
