Pandoro is a traditional Italian sweet, very popular around Christmas. Pandoro is traditionally like a frustum with an eight-pointed star section. It is often served dusted with vanilla-scented icing sugar made to resemble the snow peaks of the Italian Alps during Christmas.

The biblical Magi ,also referred to as the (Three) Wise Men or (Three) Kings, were, in the Christian tradition, a group of distinguished foreigners who visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. They are regular figures in traditional accounts of the nativity celebrations of Christmas and theyare an important part of Christian tradition.

They are Melchior, a Persian scholar; Caspar, an Indian scholar and Balthazar, a Babylonian scholar. The night before the 6th of January they followed the Star of Bethlehem, or Christmas Star, because it conducted them at Jesus. The presents aren’t chosen without a reason, so they brought gold because it is the gift reserved to the Kings and Jesus is the King of the Kings; frankincense, as testimony of adoration to his divinity, because Jesus is God; myrrh, used in the cult of the dead, because Jesus is man and how man, mortal.
