Dolma comes from the Turkish word “to stuff”. Dolmas are made up of different vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, and onions and is sometimes filled with beef and rice. This certain type of technique is called marbling or called Ebru. It is believed that this technique started in Turkey and then influenced Chinese, Indian, and Persian art. I was interested in this song because it reminds me of an American song and shows the connection of different cultures and that we aren’t that different.
