I'm finding it difficult to distinguish between being a RNA and now a student nurse, as a lot of the things I do now that I feel confident in, I won't be able to do as a student, so should I fill out the SLOT from a student perspective and forget being a RNA?

I'm struggling to work of how to structure the assessment. Is there a guide to follow?

if we are referring to NMC code and standards in the SLOC, do we need to cite and reference within this?

how we have the timeline section, it's hard to know if we will have had the opportunities to achieve all by a certain time. Is it okay for us to put by the end of the course?

if I were to choose Gibbs' cycle and chose to reflect on leadership and delegation from my SLOC, for example, would this follow the structure of

1. 6 steps of the cycle defined by headings - each heading discussing leadership and delegation.

   or

2. 6 steps of the cycle defined by headings to discuss leadership and then the same 6 headings repeated to discuss delegation.

also - would 2 identified areas for development be enough providing there was good detail? and is it preferable that there is a clinical skill that is reflected upon?

hope this makes sense.

My SLOC is currently based around soft skills as this feels easier to discuss and find sources to support and also feels more relevant as there aren't many clinical skills I can't already perform where I work.

what does this mean? Do I give a brief overview of where I currently work as an NA and how my experience from this area has helped me form my SLOC?

What I think I understand is LO2 is a reflection on a learning need ie communication for EOL patients and have the difficult conversations with families. I would then use Gibbs model to plan out what I need to write. (That bit confuses me)

When will the submission point go on where we can check the similarity without submitting the finished assignment.

Although NHS sources state the author as 'NHS professionals' for example, do we still need to put the reference as national health service professionals(2025) rather than just NHS?

I'm a little confused as I was going to talk about schon's model, is this more about the process rather than a structured model to use for reflection?

I'm getting confused talking about reflection and reflective practice. In the context we are talking about for the assignment, are these the same thing?

I have never come across or been encouraged to look at the 'future nurse' prof, but from a glance they appear pretty much the same??

when you say pick one to talk about from the SLOC could i just pick strenghts (example) and just talk about that throughout section 2? or does it have to be 2 that i talk about

I'm reflecting on how I need to develop confidence to engage in difficult conversation when a patients health becomes palliative.

I've got so many different ideas going around my head - I don't know what to focus on... resilience, open and honest communication, planning care ... can you advise me at all?

It feels like I am just repeating the same information.
