Having to adapt for SEN to ensure the work is accessible and appropriate. Just wanted to note you may see a differences in their books which meets their current needs.

Seen through lessons that nearly all pupils are using correct the vocabulary. Covers concepts and then goes over the same concept again to ensure that the children are familiar with the information.

I wouldn't go that long without asking the children to do any pieces of longer writing. Even if it isn't tracking books, think it is wise not to lose the pace of writing.

Chn have a much better understanding of grammar and can identify it within text.

Agree about not going that long without doing a long piece of writing. We don’t do it on a Wed and we have our reading comprehension etc. so it takes a minimum of 5weeks.

Much better understanding of terminology and when to look for it. Children are starting to spot it in speech and during other lessons.

As it goes on, it does get a bit tricky for the little ones, but I think it is something we can adapt to suit so not a major issue.
