Hello everyone from 🇮🇹🇹🇷🇪🇸🇫🇷🇵🇱🇺🇦🇭🇷🇸🇮🇳🇱 and possibly even more countries around the globe, I am Yvonne Scherphof. I am an English primary teacher, an eTwining ambassador and coordinator of an EFL programme called Such Fun as well as an Erasmus consortium of 15 primary schools. We are located in 's-Hertogenbosch, a beautiful city in the South of the Netherlands. I am really looking forward to participate in the SPQR eTwinning project with my 8-12 year old pupils at LW Beekmanschool. Many of them are bilingual and working on an eTwinning project like this one gives them the opportunity to communicate in English and collaborate with your pupils as well as with each other. Last year we were in the Around the world in 8 months project and it was an experience that never ceased to amaze us thanks to its great setup and thanks to all the wonderful teachers and classes we met. We are looking forward to dive into the Ancient Roman history with you! Big hug from the Netherlands. 🇳🇱

Hello everyone! My name is Marina and I'm from Lozova, Ukraine. It is a town to the east of my country. I've been teaching English more than 20 years. It isn't my first project on eTwinning. I am in eTwinning since 2016. My students at school are from 12 to 17 years old. They would like to meet new friends, get to know about other countries and cultures and share their impressions with new friends on the project and work together. It's very important for them!

I teach students from 6 to 11 years old.

I have been an etwinner since 2016. I really like to create projects and to involve my pupils in different activities.

I started our project for my fifh graders.

It will be exciting to learn more about Ancient Rome.

Hello! My name is Vida and I am a teacher of English from Slovenia. Our school is located in North East of Slovenia. It's a primary school. I teach pupils aged 9 to 14. My pupils for this project are 13 years old. It's not going to be their first eTwinning project. They participated in one two years ago. I am an eTwinner since 2016.

I am looking forward to start this very interesting project (by the way I am also a history teacher, but I teach only English.)

I am Tetyana Hrynkevych from the small town Sambir, Lviv region in Western Ukraine. I have been teaching English since 1987 and it's my passion. Besides, my students and I adore projects. This year my 9th and 6th grades will work together. I have a big family, a husband, two beautiful daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren who live far now. I miss them a lot. Hi, I'm Roberto. I live in Palma, the capital of the Balearic Islands, in Spain. I've been working at CC Beata Francinaina Cirer since 2003, where I teach English as a foreign language to students aged 6 to 11. I'm also the ICT coordinator, so I handle everything related to technology and communication at my school.

I joined the eTwinning program in 2017 and have participated in projects ever since, initially with my 10 and 11-year-old students, and currently just with 11-year-olds. I'm really looking forward to this project because with Monica and Serap as the founders and with such a great team, the projects are always very interesting. My students love them!

Dear all! I am technology and design teacher from Zagreb, Croatia. I also teach Physics and lead Stem youth club and Photo club in our school. This year I will work on this project with the experienced group of students who have already participated in projects given National label. My passion for ancient history goes back to high school, when I attended a classical gymnasium. I am very excited and looking forward to starting this new project with all of you.

Hello everyone!
My name is Paulina, and I am a teacher from Warsaw, Poland. This is my third year with eTwinning, so I still consider myself quite new, but I am very happy and grateful to be part of this wonderful project and team.

My students are super excited to take part in this amazing adventure called SPQR! They can’t wait to meet new friends, learn together, and of course help Marcus find his way to heart of Rome. I know this journey will give them not only new knowledge but also unforgettable memories and experiences.

Apart from being a teacher, I am also an archaeologist, which makes this project very special for me. It brings together two of my passions – cooperation and archaeology. I really love creating opportunities for students to discover, explore, and work together, and I believe SPQR will be the perfect way to do this.

Since this is my first project so closely connected to archaeology, I feel especially motivated and inspired. Thank you so much for letting me join your team – I’m looking forward to learning, sharing, and building something meaningful with all of you!

Hello! I am Susana. I live in Ceuta which is a small beautiful city located in the North of Africa but it belongs to Spain. I am a Primary Education and English teacher and I teach students aged 9 to 12 years old at CEIP Mare Nostrum. My school is near the Mediterranean Sea and from it we can see beautiful views from the South Bay of the city.

I have been an eTwinner since 2018 and I love participating in such fantastic projects. It has been 5 years since I work with Monica and Serap as founders and I wish I continue working with them for many years.

In my free time I used to dance flamenco but now I do not have much time to practice it. I also like learning new methods and creating materials for my students in order to make my lessons funnier. My mates at school say that "I am always inventing".

My students and I are very happy to participate in this wonderful project about Ancient Rome.

Hello to all the project partners. I'm thrilled that we'll be able to work together, have fun, and gain experience. I'm a preschool teacher with 33 years of experience. I love project work, which brings so much joy to both the teacher and the students. I'm constantly learning and acquiring new skills to make my classes engaging for children. I have been teaching English since 1994. I live in İzmir, Turkey. I am teaching at a secondary school and l feel lucky that my students are very eager to take part in this project. I like to participate in eTwinning projects because it´s good for me and my students. It´s a way for me to be active and for my students to realize that English helps them to communicate with children from other countries and it´s also a way for them to feel more self-confident with this language and encourage them to try new activities.
