1.Sallamah was fond of her elder sister but did not want to spend time with her brother. But it was only for a short time later that Sallamah was not the youngest child.

2.The family of five had evolved into a family of eight. They had named the only new girl to the family as Rapiah, and the other two boys, Ali and Osman.
