Being a part of the Vigyan Vidushi Mathematics 2026 Programme at TIFR Mumbai has been an unforgettable experience. It was a great opportunity to be a part of Vigyan Vidushi Program 2026. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and learned a bunch of important stuff. Learning from the tutors, the lecturers, and the colloquium speakers was fruitful and worth the program. Met a nice bunch of people with similar interests and passion.

Interacting with all of them was very enriching.

It was a very great experience. Meeting people of my field , getting guidance from them , was a very great opportunity. I really loved panel discussions. Hearing everyone's stories literally helped me get a clear idea of what I really wanna doo. A great learning experience and more than that a great place for networking with people of your field.

VV Maths 2026

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to attend the Vigyan Vidushi program. I truly enjoyed completing the two-week session and learned about the wide range of mathematics, including algebra, topology, and analysis. Panel discussions were very helpful. The organizers showed responsibility, accountability, and empathy for the participants. They quickly and efficiently responded to our problems. The food, accommodation, and campus were all excellent, especially the seaside, where we would regularly sit and chat every evening after classes. I gained wonderful friends and connections, and I got to know some of India's top academics. Of course, the program is well-organized without overwhelming participants, and I encourage all women to take advantage of this opportunity if they are offered it.

It was an absolute honour to be a speaker in this prestigious programme and deliver five one-hour lectures to a group of exceptionally bright women students from across India, carefully chosen by our colleagues at TIFR.

Travelling to South Bombay every day this week was exhausting. It was even more challenging because my family was down with a viral infection, which meant I had to cook every morning, take them to the doctor on two occasions, and make sure they had their medicines before leaving for Colaba. Mumbai's monsoon and the inevitable traffic certainly didn't help - had to spend more than four hours in the cab on Tuesday alone.

Yet the sincerity, curiosity, and motivation of these students made every bit of the effort worthwhile. Given the opportunity, I would gladly do it again. I am now convinced that some of these young women will become our colleagues in the years to come, enabling a less skewed gender ratio among mathematicians, and I eagerly look forward to that day.

It was a wonderful experience to deliver some lectures in VV 2026 and interact with the students and other faculty. The enthusiasm and eager interest shown by the students to learn made every minute pleasant and inspiring.
