         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Based on the percent of student whole qualify for free or reduced lunch (school/ district level allocation).<br>2. TI should be a "double dip" of instruction. It should align with the content and vocabulary taught in the classroom. For example, a Title I student would receive a guided reading lesson in the classroom and a second lesson with the TI teacher. It also provides funds for materials and staff.<br>3. Students who are behind grade-level based on a triangulation of data points.</div>]]></description>

TI Funding is based off of the percentage of students at our school who qualify for free or reduced lunches (given in a lump sum to the district, then proportioned out accordingly from there).<br>2. Most of my ELs are TI students - it impacts much of my student population. <br>3. Students who qualify based off of multiple factors like NWEA, Reading Benchmarks, Report Card Data, M-Step that are behind in grade level outcomes (and whether they receive direct or indirect services is dependent on their needs/scores).</div>]]></description>

Title One instruction should be additional instruction to the daily classroom instruction. Students should be receiving support based on needs based on assessment results and classroom instruction. Title One instruction should be aligned with the curriculum and compliment classroom instruction.<br>3. Title One services are determined based on NWEA, benchmark, SRI and MStep scores as well as teacher input. Those students are below grade level in either math and/or reading. </div>]]></description>
