But in 1965, when Michael Polakovs played him, his costume design was completely revamped, and the one he sported was a partly approximate resemblance to the iconic, recognizable modern one we know today. But I still think that the Moody King (King Moody), Squire Fridell, Jack Doepke, Dave Hussey, and Brad Lennon had more memorable portrayals. HOWEVER,.....Mike looked kinda cute in that costume. Evolving from a talking normal glass pitcher with a creepy-ass animated drawn face on it in the first ever Kool-Aid commercial from 1954, his design and concept would return revamped and revitalized 20 years later (1974), following a decade of unashamed racist bullshit ("The Kool-Aid Kids in Japan") and Bugs Bunny exploitation (1960s), thus giving birth to one of America's biggest advertising icons ever. Before he would join in all sorts of activities and shenanigans with kids in the ads for Kool-Aid Jammers from when I was a little kid that I remember, it all started when kids were getting really parched from various activities. As they sit somewhere to catch their breath, they exchange a few relatable words with each other until they realize the time has come for HIM to appear.
