Going back to work on such little sleep was hard but speaking with active teenagers about the world's issues gave me so much energy that I could take care of my baby boy back home with more strength. It was really hard at times, but, yes, fortunately I am a teacher...

I was in an exchange project in Taranto. On my birthday I received a lot of messages, videos wishing me happy birhday. Most of them were from my students and older ones who are already at university or working. I felt so much loved by all of them. In Turkey, if you work under government, you take a test and you will be appointed to a place as to your test score. I chose some cities as to my score, and appointed to the east of Turkey, a city named Malatya. My husband had to stay in our city Kirikkale and I was alone in my new story. The distance among two cities are about 700 km. And I was pregnant to my daughter. Those were hard times, but my first school was a village school with students needing help. All the parents in the village made me feel as if I am their daughter. They invited me to their home, prepared foods, etc. Although this a year costed me a lot, I still miss those days and those sincere people.
