Perspective was one of the Principles of the Renaissance that Leonardo incorporated into this work. As you can see in the painting, there is the background. In the background you can see that the mountains had depth and there was more detail. This was a three-dimensional technique that made the portrait more realistic and made it standout. Also, this represents humanism, as this puts emphasis on a human and has no connection to religion. The Renaissance principle that this drawing showed was humanism. The way that Leonardo put an emphasis on how the human body's proportions were, which was not related to religion, and had to do with science. Another principle that is represented is classicalism. He designed this product to obtain flight.  It was made out of reed, linen and wire. He believed that the propeller had enough rotation, it would be able to lift itself off of the ground. Other scientists seriously doubted his invention. The weight restrictions caused his product to fail and it was not able to lift off the ground. Although, this weapon was not used a lot in fighting, as it was used more to scare the enemies because of the size of it. This was another weapon that would help many armies across Europe.
