[INTRODUCTION]

‘Camera fades in on Charlie sitting in his bedroom, dim lighting. He looks contemplative.’

Charlie:

"Hey, it's Charlie. I guess this is my first video diary. I'm not really sure what to say... Today was tough. I thought about my Aunt Helen a lot. It still feels weird without her. I miss her."

[PERSONAL REFLECTION]

‘Charlie looks down, fiddling with a bracelet on his wrist.’

Charlie:

"So, school was... okay. I had lunch with Sam and Patrick. They really make me feel like I belong, you know? But sometimes, I feel like I don’t fit in, even with them. Like, when they talk about their lives, I feel so different. I can’t shake off the feeling that I’m just a wallflower, watching everyone else live."

‘He pauses, taking a deep breath.’

Charlie:

"And then there’s this girl, Sam. I think I’m starting to like her more than just a friend. But I don’t even know how to tell her. What if it ruins our friendship? I just wish I could be brave enough to say something."

[CONCLUSION]

‘Charlie looks directly into the camera, his expression more serious.’

Charlie:

"I guess I just want to feel like I matter. I wish I could be someone who isn’t afraid all the time. Anyway, I’m going to try to write some more letters, like I used to. Maybe that’ll help. Thanks for listening."

‘Camera fades out.’
