My name is Ricardo Eliecer Neftali Reyes Basoalto and they know me as Pablo Neruda. My beginning was in 1920 with the first publication with my pseudonym.  was married and had three daughters. My mother died of tuberculosis and my father is a train driver . I participated in poetry contests. I was a great writer ,also an exponent of modern Chilean journalism and won many awards throughout my career.
