Tundra/Polar Region - very cold, icy, has long periods of light & long periods of darkness. Polar bears, seals, penguins live in the polar region. Moss grows in the polar region. 

2. Desert Region - very hot during the day, cooler at night, little water supply. Scorpions, tarantulas, cacti can be found in the desert. 

3. Rivers/Streams Region - temperature varies, water can flow fast or slow. Fish, deer, insects love rivers/streams. There are a lot of trees, grass, and moss in rivers/streams.

4. Wetlands/Swamps Region - a lot of water and plants. Temperature is warm and moist. Alligators, frogs, trees, moss can be found here. 

5. Rainforest Region - a lot of rain, and warm weather.
