First, we brainstormed different ideas on how to fight boredom at home without leaving the house. Next, we sketched and thought more about what we would do to turn our magnificent ideas into real products. After that, we presented our products to the online learning community using Padlet. After that, we viewed our friends' projects and we gave them feedbacks during the peers-evaluation process. The hardest part was to invite special visitors to our Exhibition. We worked hard on persuasive letter writing so we can convince special guests to come and check out our cool projects. Finally we worked on self-evaluation and also reflected on our work. We hope our products will help others stay busy and safe at home. We would like to dedicate our K2 PBL Exhibition to Dr. Kotani who planted the PBL seeds at Monterey Highlands 4 years ago when she took Ms. Nguyen and a team of teachers to High Tech High during the summer of 2017 to learn how to implement PBL at Monterey Highlands. My name is Conner Tsukimoto. I am from the K2 class and Ms. Nguyen is my teacher. Since corona virus was here we zoom and learn new things at home. Do you want to visit my PBL projects on Padlet? You can see all my work there and my classmates' PBL projects too like GLOWS, Forts, Cooking a Meal and more. Our work in progress is there too. It's very hard to get used to it but now it's fun for my classmates and me. It keeps me healthy during quarantine and busy, having fun and playing with my friends. We eat snacks together on Zoom for birthdays. We write birthday cards on PBL too like Eryn, Andrew, Ms. Debbie, and Megan. They turned 6 years old. I will have the rest of my Kindergarten on Padlet and will have fun.
