Exposition: The Beginning of the book starts with a family named the Satlow family and how they like to watch baseball and their favorite team is The Brooklyn Dodgers.

Rising Action: They find out that a black baseball player is moving into there Neiborhood but he don't know who it is

Climax: When Jackie and his Family moves into the neiborhood they go over to greet him and his family and they have a good time and stephen realize that they are becoming friends and Stephen goes to jackie baseball games with Rachel and Jackie jr.

Falling action: Stephen finds out that Jackie is moving and that they will still be friends and how they can come over some time to visit them.

Resolution: They have all grown up and Stephen and his family goes to visit Jackie and his family and they still talk and do stuff together.
