Response to Book Review

This review sums up the book without giving much away. It provides a synopsis, explaining the central ideas in the book, but does not spoil anything! It keeps the story somewhat vague, but I feel as if that draws you in more, as there are so many unanswered questions. That means the only way to answer them is to read the book! It uses strong adjectives to give imagery. This is what a great book review should be - one that is explanatory but doesn't ruin the story for one who might have not read the book yet.

I believe that Millie Bobby Brown would be a great person to play Lizzie Hood, the main character in the story. This book is dark, creepy and dramatic, which, as shown on "Stranger Things" Millie Bobby Brown does well.

I definitely wouldn't not recommend, but I don't think I would recommend the book either. The plot is slow and very disturbing. That being said, however, it is a fascinating story, and quite unpredictable. Not one of my favorites, but still a pretty good book. I wouldn't recommend for anyone under the age of 12. There are some mature topics mentioned in the book.

This quote says a lot about the mood of the book. The quote is dark and vague, much like the story itself. The entire book is set around Evie's disappearance, and here Evie mentions "wanting so much you feel like you might disappear". This quote hints to something shocking revealed later in the story, but I will not share, as I don't want to spoil anything :)
