Before the pre-flight briefing assessment, I felt anxious because there was a lot of pressure on me to perform well with my group to ensure that we passed. I felt scared beforehand in case I messed up or forgot any of my lines, which would lead to my group failing the assessment. However, I did feel excited before the pre-flight briefing because I have not done anything like it before, so I was intrigued to see what it would be like and how the assessment would carry out. During the pre-flight briefing, I felt quite tense as I was focusing on perfecting my lines and saying them at the right time. As the assessment progressed, I began feeling slightly relaxed because I was getting used to reading my lines. One area for development would be to be more confident throughout the performance so that my lines flow more smoothly. Next time I will hopefully be more confident as confidence is imperative when working as part of cabin crew, so this is definitely something I need to improve on. 

This is relevant to the travel industry because it helps me to physically and actively learn by me performing the pre-flight briefing in front of my peers, rather than just listening to someone telling me how a pre-flight briefing would be done. It also prepares me for when I do eventually get a job as Cabin Crew, I will know what a pre-flight briefing entails and know how to do it.
