         <description><![CDATA[<div>When the nerve impulse reaches the axon terminals, a neurotransmitter that stimulates skeletal muscle cells are fired. This neurotransmitter is called acetylcholine. Acetylcholine diffuses across the synapse and attaches to the axon terminals. This generates an electrical current called an action potential. Once the action potential is started, it is unstoppable; conducting the electrical impulse from one end of the cell to another. This results in contraction of the muscle cells. The muscles in our fingers contract with help from the ligaments, which allow our fingers move, and have precise touch. </div>]]></description>
