Ever since I was very young, I have loved performing. I love the impact it leaves on people after I act or sing, and just listening to their reactions and watching their faces light up is something I will never get tired of doing.

However, I was never 100% certain I wanted to be a teacher. I considered many different career paths, including some that I still wouldn't turn down if I had the chance. But through teaching, I will be able to incorporate something I love into a lesson shared with young students that I can leave a real impact on. I would still love to continue to get the opportunities to act or sing on stage. When I am done with my career in performing, I will be grateful to pass down the torch to younger generations and give them the right tools to succeed.

All of this being said, a girl can still dream about Broadway. ;)

Personal Life

I have always made sure that I make time for the people I care about the most and the things I love to do. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family a lot. You can often find my friends and I outside at the lake or hiking, or at a concert venue. I like to spend time with my family by cooking for them or bonding over music/movies. I have a very close relationship with all of my loved ones.

Aside from the people in my life, when I'm alone I enjoy making music. I play multiple instruments, mainly guitar and piano. I love to sing, and I love being outdoors. I have a few shows that I binge-watch over and over- New Girl, Modern Family, and Bob's Burgers are the current contenders for the lead role on my TV.

I'm a very busy person and I like it that way! I do all I can to keep myself healthy, entertained, and fulfilled.

Influences and Inspiration

My parents are the obvious answer. Of course, they were always 110% supportive of whatever I was doing, and I am incredibly lucky to have them. They are also the reason for my love for music! Without them, I would not know half of what I do.

But my biggest influences in my life so far have been my highschool teachers. My choir teacher (pictured above) taught me for over 6 years, and all of it was amazing. This woman inspired me and gave me the courage to move forward with my music career, and I still hope to go somewhere with it. She is my reason for never giving up.

I have other inspirations as well- my highschool theatre teacher and my drama friends will always hold a special place in my heart. They introduced me to the thing I enjoy doing the most- acting! And they helped me learn how to have fun while doing it. I will always cherish these people and the lessons and love they've given me.
