Before that, I would like to brief shortly on how I got this job. First of all, I got experienced working as promoter in the same branch, so I just had a walk-in the Human Resource office which was on 8 July 2018 around 12.30p.m and met my branch supervisor. Then, she told me that there is a part-time promoter job at ladies department. So, I told her that I have to discuss with my dad regarding this job. Then, I discussed with my dad and finally agreed the offer. She told me to come join the job on 9 July 2018 but I had an important work to do on that day and postponed to next day. Today, I walked in to Human Resource office and had a short interview regarding my personal details and also my working experiences. Then, they gave me one form to fill up regarding my personal details, education information and also working experiences. After that, they gave an identical card written "PART-TIME PROMOTER" and must wear during my working hours. Next, I went to my department which is “ELEGANCE” (ladies department) and talked with my promoter, Mrs Tan Ah They. She also gave me one form as the HR officers gave for my promoter to be sent to my brand company. Mrs Tan gave me short briefing on how to open a bill and how to write details in cash bills. She also told me to count stocks whenever I sold out any dresses. She had already sticked one card on each racks for me to count every day and whenever I sold out any dresses. I was given a punch card written my name and my brand department "ELEGANCE". The purpose of it is for my attendance. Mrs Tan told to me to punch card after coming to work, before leaving the work and also during break time. She introduced me to her colleagues around my department. After that, she wrote my timetable that I should come on the next coming days. My working hours is just only 4 hours (6.00p.m. till 10.00p.m.) because there is no 8 hours working time for part-time workers but she allowed  me to do 8 hours, morning shift, (10.00a.m. till 7.00p.m.) on every Thursday. This is because she will be on leave so no one will be there to take care of the department. Around 7.00p.m., she went off to punch card because today she was in morning shift. Then, I took over her section and was sitting at my counter. There were no customers for today and my promoter only opened one cash bill since morning. Around 9.30p.m. , I was assigned to check and count all the stocks of dresses, pants and blouses. After that, sharp at 10.00p.m. , I went and queued up to punch my card and finally went back to home by car.

He was driving the car in rush for him to send me to the workplace before 6.00p.m. But the time left only was 10 minutes. Luckily, I reached on time and rushed to upstairs (third floor for me to punch my card. Thank god, I punched my card sharp at 6.00p.m. . By the time I reached to the second floor, Mrs Tan, my promoter called me and asked where I am now and told her that I am on the way to the department. After that, Mrs Tan assigned me to change the price of blouses which have been mark down to 50% discount. She told me to take the rolls of price tags from the Human Resource office and told to change the price tags of the blouses next morning. She taught me how to put the price tags for discount items and normal items. If the item is normal price, the price tag will be "NOR" with blue colour tag which means the item doesn't have any discount and it is fixed price. Meanwhile for 10% and 20% items, the price tags will be "NOR (BB)" in blue colour tag. For 50% discount items, the price tag will be "NOR (BB)", where the alphabet "BB" will be highlighted in red colour. Then, I was sharing my problem to Mrs Tan regarding my Thursday's schedule. Mrs Tan told me that she will come on Friday and adjust my schedule because tomorrow she will be on leave. As usual today Mrs Tan took morning shift so she left me alone to take care of the counter and department and went back at 7.00p.m. After an hour, two customers and tried many blouses. They was looking discounted items but unfortunately, my brand department only sells expensive items even after discount price.
They took nearly one and half hours to choose their blouses. At last, they bought only one blouse. Today was much better than yesterday because I didn't saw any customers yesterday compared today. Then, I was cleaning my place. Around 9.00p.m., I started my job to count back all the stocks that been displayed to make sure all the displayed items are enough. Today is my morning shift duty (10.00a.m. till 7.00p.m.). I met some of my old friend, Aunty BTB. She was working with me when I was working at The Store (Old). She shifted to this new The Store because the old Store have been closed last two months ago. Since I came early which was around 9.25a.m. and I waited outside the supermarket with my other colleagues as the gate was locked. So, we began with a wonderful conversation as we waited for the security to arrive. The security reached about 10 minutes before 10a.m. , therefore he opened the gate. As we waited so long outside the supermarket, we quickly rushed and had punched our cards. I went to my department and I began to arrange and clean the stuff before the supermarket is open for business. My promoter, Mrs Tan was on leave today so I had to take care of my department and counter alone. Mrs Tan assigned me to clean up the place and count back all the stocks again. 
After that, I went to Human Resource office which is located at the third floor of the building to take the price tags but I returned back to my counter empty-handed because they did not do the price tags yet. It was 12.00p.m. and it was my lunch break. Before I leave the counter for the break, I informed my next brand department, "Esse One" promoter to take care of my counter when I'm not around. It was 12.56p.m. , I returned back to my counter after punched my card and it was the "Esse One" promoter's turn to take her lunch break around 1.00p.m. I took over her counter as well. After that, I went to Human Resource office to collect the price tags and finally they have done it and changed the price tags of blouses that have been marked down 50% discount. I got infused by the price tags that I suppose to stick on the blouses, so I decided to ask for help from the next department promoter and she helped me with open-hearted even though she was quite busy with her report writing. I finally informed my promoter by calling her. In the end, it was disappointing day for me as no costumer came and bought cloths today. Half and hour before returning back to home, I counted again all the stocks to make sure it is tally with my promoter's report. Then, I asked permission from Mrs Tan  to go to Human Resource office for me to get the cop on my SIEP form. The Human Resource officers questioned me too much regarding my SIEP  and I managed to answer them but they couldn't understand my explanation. So, I showed again my letter and finally they understood but unfortunately, she cop on the wrong place. She asked me to print a new form and bring it back the next day. She felt sorry for it. Then, I came back to my counter  and Mrs Tan taught me how to arrange the blouses, pants and dresses according to its size. Then, she asked me to follow her to the store room. She showed the stocks that have been arranged according to the article numbers. My Human Resources officer told me to change my black t-shirt into a white t-shirt since I am working as a part-time promoter and every part-time promoters are only to wear white t-shirt. She told me that I am the only one wearing black t-shirt with the permission of my brand company. Then, I return back to my department and told the issue about the matters of the t-shirt I was wearing. She told me that my company doesn't really matters these kind of problem. So, she just told me to obey the Human Resources officers. Apparently, there was this Chinese aunty come to the department and she chooses a blouse that was 50% off. Then I finally opened a bill for today. I was relieved that I had opened a bill compared to yesterday. Around 9.00p.m. ,I started my routine to count back the stocks that has been displayed at the supermarket. I completed my job around 9.50p.m. I stayed alert all the time and then I walked upstairs to the third floor, the place where the office is located. I queued up to punch my card to leave the place. I was talking with  Mrs Tan about the company Brand's rules and I sent the informations to her so that she can change the price tags starting  Monday onwards because the company ordered to reduce the price. This is because the company wants to sell of all the old stocks in low prices. Mrs Tan told me about the sales for today was quite good. The sales was around RM 350.00 this morning. She also told me about the company's brand salary date will be middle of the month. She asked me to open a Public Bank account but  then I asked her whether I can use my father's account or not seems he's not using it at all. She said it's not possible at all and have to open the account under my name. Other bank can be used to get salary but it takes time for the company to transfer money from Public Bank account to other bank account. Then, she was talking about the company's rules and regulations. She told that the report of daily sales have to hand in to Miss Chia, our supervisor of ladies department before middle of this month for her to check completely. Around 7.00p.m., Mrs Tan went back home since she was on morning shift duty. After she went back, I started writing my daily report for my SIEP as there was no customer there. While writing my report, Aunty Airen (Voir Exchange)  brand's promoter, came and chit-chat with me a while. She asked to introduce about myself to her. She got shocked that I'm doing my degree studies because she thought that I'm a SPM student who was looking for a full-time job. While talking to her, 2 customers came and tried few blouses and pants. After trying for quite long time, she only bought 1 blouse. Then, 1 customer came after them. She was looking for slack pants. I showed the displayed pants. She tried 3 pants in the fitting room and bought the 2 of the slack pants. Then, I arranged and hanged back the remaining pants according to the sizes. The sales for today was RM 638.00 which was much more better than yesterday. I opened three bills after Mrs Tan went back home which was for +-RM 300. I was quite happy today because I felt very satisfied with the sales for today. I rechecked all of my displayed stocks. Aunty Airen reminded me to take the cash bills from cashier's counter for my promoter to record all the sales in the daily report book. Then, I went to cashier to take the cash bills for Mrs Tan to write in her daily sales report. The Human Resource officer told me to get it from the customer service center. Then, I went to the customer service counter. She asked me why am I here again. Then, I explained to her that my previous form got cop on wrong place so I printed a new form. After that, she understood and cop on my form without questioning me anymore. She asked me about my report progress. She wished me good luck and I walked back to my department. I saw Mrs Tan was busy writing her daily report and sales in her log book. She was also busy listing down all the prices of after discounts on a piece of cardboard paper. She said will be changing the price starting tomorrow and after that she will be taking leave. She told me to work for 8 hours when she is on leave after this but she still haven't confirm the date yet. After few minutes, my dad came and had a small talk with Mrs Tan and asked her how am I working here. After he went back, my promoter told me there was one customer who bought one slack pants yesterday came this morning to change the colour of the pants. The customer said that the colour doesn't suit her blouse. I asked Mrs Tan whether I had opened the bill yesterday correctly and she said everything was perfect. Around 7.00p.m., Mrs Tan went back to upstairs to punch her card because she took morning shift work. My neighbour promoter, Aunty Airen ( Voir Exchange) told me that my promoter Mrs Tan had lost one blouse in the morning but Mrs Tan didn't tell me anything about this problem. So, Aunty Airen, (Voir Exchange) brand promoter told me to re-count the items that have been displayed. While counting the stocks, Mrs Tan forgotten to deduct 1 item from the calculation, so to re-confirm back, I took the cash bill resit book and checked the article number. Then, I did the counting back and made it correctly. I informed Aunty Airen that all the stocks are enough. Aunty Airen remind me to count back the stocks once I come to the counter and before leaving the counter at night. I was busy writing my daily report. Suddenly, one customer came and saw blouses at my department but they went to next brand's counter (Voir Exchange). They took that brand's blouse without informing Aunty Airen and went in fitting room. Luckily, I saw them and informed Aunty Airen then, she took over the customer.  Today, I didn't open any bill but Mrs Tan opened bill for RM 233 only. Around 9.30p.m., I started counting my stocks again as usual to make sure there is no lost in stocks. After that, Aunty Airen came to my counter and talked to me while waiting for the time get 10.00p.m. Sharp at 10.00p.m., me and Aunty Airen went upstairs to punch our cards and queued up there. She said will be taking leave on this Friday and asked me to do morning shift which will be 8 hours (10.00a.m. till 7.00p.m.) and on Thursday afternoon shift (1.00p.m. till 10.00p.m.). After that, I continued helping her to change the other stocks which was in the store. While changing the price tags, she taught how to label the price tags for each sizes because it would be easier for her to search sizes that customers wants. Around 7.00p.m. , Mrs Tan went back home as she was in morning shift. Then, I helped her to clean her place. Aunty Airen was busy cleaning her counter. I went and talked to her and told her that Mrs Tan will be taking leave coming Friday. Aunty Airen told that we need to apply leave three days before the day. This is because the process takes time for the officers to approve it. Aunty Airen told that she didn't get any sales for today. She taught me how to identify stealers and thieves and what should I do when this kind of incidents happens. She told me not to attack thieves or stealers without any prove. Aunty Airen told Mrs Tan always asks about me on how am I working. Aunty Airen said to her that I'm working well. Aunty Airen told me to look after her counter coming Wednesday and Thursday because she will be on leave.There was no customer for tonight. Mrs Tan changed her mindset that she will take leave on Friday but I told her that I will be having transportation problem since my cousin is working. Mrs Tan took her decision to take leave on coming Sunday and asked me to come to work in the afternoon shift from 1.00p.m. till 10.00p.m. . She informed me that she is having 16 days annual leave. Her boss called her and remind to clear all her annual leave before June 2019. The company won't pay her back if she still have annual left but it will automatically burnt. So, Mrs Tan planned to finish her annual leaves before Deepavali because during festival days, there will be many customers for shopping. So, there will be no one to look after her counter and customers. Therefore, she changed her annual leave to Sunday. Then, I agreed with her decision because I won't be having problem on Sundays because my dad will be on leave so he can send me to my workplace. She also said that she will be taking leave next Wednesday. So, she asked me to do afternoon shift work from 1.00p.m. till 10.00p.m. . I asked her whether is there any sales for today. She replied that she didn't open any bills since morning till now. She informed me that she had finished applying new price tags to all displayed items. Around 7.00p.m. , she went back as usual because she took morning shift work. It seems I'm in as part time promoter, so she is taking only 8 hours working hour, morning shift. After that, as usual I count all the displayed stocks to re-confirm whether the items are enough. Aunty Airen came back from her break time and came talked to me a while. Then, I started doing my daily SIEP report at my counter. Time passes very fast. There was no customer for tonight. After that, Mrs Tan informed me that she had changed the arrangements of siplayed items. Then, Mrs Tan counted again before she go back home. She said to me that she had already applied leave for this coming Sunday and sent the annual leave paper to Human Resource office. She showed her daily sales report log book. She said that the sales for this month is the worst compared to previous month sales. The sales for today was not that bad compared to yesterday where there was no sales at all. She opened 2 bills in the morning. Around 7.00p.m., she went back home as usual time. Since Aunty Airen is on leave today and tommorow, Mrs Tan assigned me to look after her counter today and tommorow. Mrs Tan will be on leave tomorrow so I have to look after Aunty Airen's counter once I come into work in the afternoon as I will be in for afternoon shift work. The "Esse One" promoter came to my counter and told me to look after her department and counter as she was in to morning shift work and went back at 7.00p.m. . Then, they gave me the responsibility to look after 3 counters and departments including mine. After an hour, one customer came and tried few blouses from my department but she didn't buy. So, I banged back all the blouses she tried according to the sizes. Few minutes later, another customer came and tried 2 skirts and finally bought it. So, I opened 2 bills after Mrs Tan went back home. The day was quite normal because a few customers came and tried my Brand's stocks and some of them bought and some are not. After that, I arranged all the tried blouses again according to it's sizes and counted back again. Then, as usual I sat down at my counter and wrote my SIEP report so that I won't feel bored. The sales for today was +- RM 391 which was very much better than yesterday. Around 9.30p.m, I went and checked their counter and switched off their counter lights. Then, I came to my counter and started counting again all my displayed stocks. There was no customer since I came in for afternoon shift work. Meanwhile, I was writing down my daily SIEP report while looking after the counters. I waited and sat quite long and there was no customer till my break time at 6.00p.m. . Around 6.00p.m., one customer came and tried few blouses and finally bought it. So, I went for my break 10 minutes late. But unfortunately, the customer didn't buy any blouses and I also went to break. After I came back from my counter, I cleaned again my counter. There was no customer as usual for that night. As usual, my duty is to count back all the stocks and cleaned the counter. Mrs Tan thought me on how to hang up all the cloths neatly because she said that I had hanged wrongly yesterday. So, she gave me few pants to be hanged. Then, she taught me how to fold customer's blouses that they bought. She informed me to never give the clothing's that they bought to their hand and told to put it at the counter. This is because few customers will bring it back without paying for it. Many incidents had happened I that shopping complex. Then, around 7.00p.m., Mrs Tan went back home and I took over the counte. Today Aunty Airen and Ah Teng Aunty was in afternoon shift duty. There was no customer today. Mrs Tan informed me that she will be on leave next coming Wednesday. So she informed me to come in afternoon shift work which will be from 1.00p.m. till 10p.m because there will be no one to look after the department. After that, few customers came and tried blouses and pants. Seems, "Elegance" brand clothings are expensive, customer just came and try it. So, there was only few customers and I only opened bill around RM250. As usual, around 9.15p.m., I cleaned my counter and counted back all the displayed stocks to make sure all the stocks are enough. Then, I checked my sales memo whether is there any sales this morning because if there is sales, Mrs Tan assigned to get the resit from the cashier's counter after the customers paid off. Since there is no sales since morning, luckily I opened 2 bills which was for RM 200. Today, there was many customers came for shopping. Many tried my Brand's clothing's.  Before I go for my break 5.00p.m., I cleaned my counter and counted back all the stocks again. After that, I went upstairs to punch my and went for break. Around 5.50p.m., I came back to my counter and checked Aunty Irene got opened any bills for me or not. Then,I counted back again all the displayed stocks to make sure there is no lost. I got opened another bill before going back to home. Then, I arranged all the tried blouses and hanged at the respective places. At night, there was no customer. It seems interesting customer stole the blouse but Mrs Tan wrote cash bill. Mrs Tan said to the customer that she will send it to the cashier's counter but the lady refused it and brought by herself. After 10 minutes, Mrs Tan went to the cashier to collect the cash bill and only found one cash bill. Mrs Tan opened two separated cash bill because the lady bought two different blouses with different discounts. She told me to be alert and assigned me to bring blouses to the cashier's counter and never allow customer to bring by themselves. She said that the company will deduct her commission money as she lost one blouse which costs RM 129.00. Mrs Tan said to take care of the counter for two days (Wednesday and Thursday) as she will be on leave tomorrow and Thursday. So, I was assigned to come in work noon shift work. She left the counter with a wide smile and went back home at 7.00p.m. . Mrs Tan opened bill +- RM 597.00 this morning. She informed me that might will have customers tonight. A few customers come and tried blouses and pants. Unfortunately, none bought those clothing's. As a conclusion, I didn't open any bills tonight. So, after I punched my card, I sat at corridor for the times up. Around 12.50p.m., I went downstairs to my department. I checked my sales memo whether anyone got opened bill this morning. I saw one bill have been opened. So, I went to cashier's counter to collect the cash bill memo for Mrs Tan to record her daily sales in her report book. Then, I cleaned my counter, arranged the hanged displayed stocks and counted again the stocks because Mrs Tan lost one blouse yesterday. So, Mrs Tan have me the responsibility to look after her counter well as she is on leave on today and tomorrow. She doesn't want the incident to be repeated again. Then, I served one customer and I opened bill for the blouse that the customer chose. Then, before going for my break time, I served one customer and it really took longer time for the customer to try her 2 blouses. I waited till she comes out from the fitting room eventhough it's time for my break. But yet she didn't buy. After that, I went to upstairs to punch my card during my break time. After I came back from my break, I saw my counter was full of blouses. Few customers came and tried blouses and luckily another counter promoter look after my counter when I was not around. After trying for quite long time, she only bought 2 blouses and 1 pants. There was no customers that night. Around 9.15p.m., I started to count all the stocks and cleaned my counter.
