Hey everyone, my name is Dallin Ussery! I am so stoked to start this class and fill my helmet with all the knowledge this course has to offer. I can't wait to shred through these discussions and quizzes, and to land a solid A in this class. Something to know about me outside of this class is I love to wear the shoe Vans, they are probably one of my favorite shoe brands. I have put my elbow pads and shoulder pads on before jumping into this course, by reading the syllabus and ensuring I have all the technology and supplies needed to be successful. I hope the rest of this semester and the entirety of this course is as smooth as an afternoon street cruise by the beach. I wish everyone else in this course the best of luck and hope that they are able to shred it just like me!

There was also a big focus on the organization of management, and in a sense how a company stacks or tiers their responsibilities. I feel organization is so important and so crucial in many different ways. If we relate a company to a sports team, such as the Atlanta Hawks, everyone on that team has an end goal to win the NBA Finals. Because they have this same goal in mind they are able to set personal goals, so that the they can follow through with their responsibilities, and help take their team to the Finals. Now, if you put five different athletes that participate in different sports on the basketball court you are probably going to have some issues. Not because they aren't in shape, but because their purposes don't align with winning the NBA Finals. Same with a business you need employees that are motivated and focused on achieving the same end goal.

Diversity was a big topic in Module 2, and something that I believe is a large focus in the corporate world today. I feel diversity allows you to learn from different backgrounds, in a sense it allows you to view the world through a different lens. I currently am employed through Chick-fil-A, and have been working with them for many years here is a little bit about why they feel diversity is so important.

Globalization...imagine if you were restricted to have and use items that were found, manufactured, or produced in your native country. I think one of things that motivates me as an employee is one having specific goals in place and then some type of promised reward in return.
