This song was written in 1993 and it was published on their album "Laughing on Judgement Day". This is my influence song because when I listen to this song, it makes me feel relaxed ands calm, in the same was a Def Leppard's song does as well. In my opinion, this song from Thunder has a similar feel for the lyric meaning as "When Love and Hate Collide" as it feels like a broken relationship and the male in the relationship is trying to better himself; an example of this theory is one line of the song says "Cus when I look at myself in the mirror". "I see a Better Man".

An example of the narrative style in a song is from Christina Perri in her song "A Thousand Years". This song was written for the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1. This song was well talks about a relationship but it's more positive as it talks about the long love between the two main characters of the film.
