Animals on your way to school

1. Find some pictures. I have just taken a screen shot of a Yahoo search. I am not sure you are allowed to do that.
2. choose an animal.
3. Two and two in breakout rooms - tell about your animal. Why did you choose that animal? What is the name of the animal?
4. One day the two animals met somewhere on the way from home to school - the important part of that is that it is a known place, that the child can describe easily. A problem occurred between the two animals.
5. The two children came and solved the problem for the animals and all of you went into school where the other classmates were surprised to see you with these two animals.

ghost and colours

This story is very simple, but it can be used in so many ways that creates involvement from the children. You can let each child have this drawing and colours, so when mother/father comes home from the shopping, he/she sees all the children full of colours. You can choose not to say the colour, so when a child suggest "pea!", you don´t have to say green. You can let them find the colour and paint on the drawing. So many possibilities. Story: Once there was a mother/father - ghost (whoooooa, very scary) and you know that all ghosts are white (whhoa!). So father/mother told the children to stay at home while he/she was shopping in the mall (Whooa). When he/she was gone, one of the children ate a banana (yellow), one ate an orange (orange) and one ate a plum (purple) and one ate a blueberry and so on. When father/mother came home he/she saw the children (you can let the children play with that, maybe they hide their drawings!). Reaction from mother/father. And since that day the children have to eat rice and drink milk to become white again. End of story!
