I've had an array of pets growing up, i.e cats, birds, fish, dogs, snakes. But I've never felt as connected to them as I do with dogs. I've had many in my life, but my current three are the light of my life! They each bring their own uniqueness and they teach me that I am not alone. I grew up around it, it was always playing in the house. I even did choir all through middle school and high school! Music has been a saving grace for me. It speaks to me in ways that I can never fully put into words, it reflects my mood, my interests, and helps me find who I am. I taught myself how to play the ukulele, piano, and the guitar. I almost became a history teacher when I started college. I don't know what about it always peaks my interests, but American/British history is something that I love to learn about! While I know that being an American isn't a culture, my love for it's history can be! It allows me to connect with those who aren't here to share their stories, and in turn, I can do it for them. It kind of feeds into the love for history a bit because I'm interested in the history of the art! And surprisingly, I'm not a fan of modern art, I'm more interested in the older arts from before our time (anything before the 1950's) whether that be photographs, paintings, old clothing and artifacts, sheet music, anything with a story behind it! But I love any shows or movies that are based on books, are historically fantasy, or full of sword fighting and cool costumes! While it may sound cliché, sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era and that I should've been born into one of these times.

I like fantasy, history, biopic, romance, murder mystery etc. Books have really influenced how I view the world. I like to dive into these different places in my head and bring them to life for others to live with me. Being a reader keeps my imagination alive. We can get so sucked into reality that we lose the innocence of doing what we love and bringing out that inner child that is often ignored!
