My name is Jomini Marco Gepitulan, a 19-year-old from Owak, Asturias, Cebu. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Machine Shop at Cebu Technological University, Tuburan Campus. Alongside my studies, I am also a small business owner managing Jarred Bites, a brand that specializes in convenient and flavorful jarred products such as chicken pastil, Bicol express, sweet and spicy bagoong, and chili garlic sauce.

Entrepreneurship has always been a significant part of my life. While I enjoy various hobbies like playing guitar, chess, and basketball, I dedicate most of my time to improving my business and developing my entrepreneurial skills. I’m passionate about scaling Jarred Bites to reach more customers and provide quick, delicious meal options for people on the go. Balancing my education and business has taught me the value of time management, perseverance, and adaptability.

Basketball is another outlet where I find inspiration. It helps me stay focused and disciplined, qualities that I apply to both my studies and business. I believe that passion and consistent effort are essential for success in any endeavor. Whether I’m perfecting a play on the court or refining strategies for Jarred Bites, I approach everything with determination and a drive to grow.

Through hard work and commitment, I aim to make an impact both as a student and as an entrepreneur. My journey is just beginning, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

My biggest fear

My biggest fears are losing my loved ones and the fear of becoming average.

The thought of losing my loved ones is something that deeply affects me. My family and close friends are my greatest sources of strength and inspiration. They have supported me through every stage of my life, and their presence gives me purpose and direction. Losing them would leave a void that could never be filled. This fear drives me to cherish every moment I have with them and ensure that they know how much they mean to me. It also motivates me to work hard so I can give back to them, make them proud, and create lasting memories together.

On the other hand, the fear of becoming average pushes me to aim higher in everything I do. I don’t want to live a life of mediocrity or settle for just "good enough." I believe we all have the potential to achieve greatness, and I strive to make the most of my abilities. Whether it’s through my education, my personal growth, or the pursuit of my passions, I constantly challenge myself to improve and reach new heights.

This fear also fuels my desire to leave a meaningful legacy. I want to make an impact in everything I do, not just for myself but as a testament to what hard work and determination can achieve. Both fears, while daunting, remind me of what matters most in life and inspire me to live fully, love deeply, and always give my best.

What keeps me going is my deep desire to build a better future for my family.

My family has always been my greatest source of motivation. They have supported me in every step of my journey, providing me with love, encouragement, and strength even during the toughest times. Their sacrifices and unwavering belief in me inspire me to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges I face. I dream of giving them a life filled with comfort and opportunities, a life where their hard work and sacrifices are rewarded.

This vision of a brighter future fuels my determination to work hard in everything I do. Whether it’s excelling in my studies or pursuing my goals, I am constantly driven by the thought of providing my family with a secure and fulfilling life. I want to be someone they can depend on, someone who can lift them up and create a legacy they can be proud of.

It’s not just about material success or financial stability; it’s also about giving back to the people who have shaped me into who I am today. I want to show my gratitude through actions, by achieving my goals and using my success to give them a better life.

Every effort, every long night, and every challenge is worth it because I know I am working toward something greater than myself. My family’s happiness, well-being, and future are what keep me going every single day.
