The black figure blew into the trumpet like thing into a neighbor's house window but it made no sound but powdery stuff came out. I think it was something like sleeping powder. Sophie ran into her bed and pulled her blanket all the way up when the giant noticed her and started to stare at her with a devilish look in his eyes.
