The name of our language is Gaia. Language is what diverts our religion from others. There has been cultural convergence between the Greeks and the Latin. Thus forming similar phrases. The language was exposed to this culture because the founding fathers were grown in these places. 

Each element of the earth has its own version of our language called Gaia. 
  • Earth is the primary language, Gaia,  for all believers. 
  • The air writes the beliefs of Terra. All the religious texts are written in the air language.
  • Fire is the primary language to talk with the natural God. 
  • Water is an informal way of communication.  
Some of the example words of the language is:

  •  Mair (air)

The attire is very earthly and connected to nature. 

  • The women wear a crown made of amoro, our country's flower, the crown was found in the middle of the flowers in between a rock called moon heart rock. The crown represents equality between all. No supremacy is occurring in the country. The women's color of clothing consists of green, white, black, brown, etc. The dress is usually like a robe. 
  • For the men, the main article of clothing is the sandals. The sandals consist of rock in between a wooden plate. The men also wear the crowns as the women. The men's clothes are the same color scheme as the women’s. Making the clothes very similar and connected. 
  • The clothing being so similar to each other represents the connection between not only the people to nature but the people to each other.

Our religion is called mantis. The Mantis religion revolves around the pray mantis (mante).

Background:  When the first refugees of terra came over to the new settlement, the mantis was their food because the mantis helped them survive in their new destination. They started to worship the mantis and the environment where she thrived in. 

The holy book: is the nature and the revolution of the area over time. 

One of the rituals is, reserving food for the mantis for one month each year. That month is called herra. This is a way of worshiping their God and showing respect and reverence. 

The people believe that there is only one true God(nature). The religion has not yet started to spread/became isolated as they believe the connection to the nature they thrive in gives them more power.

Terra is located on an island in the middle Norwegian sea on one of the small islands near Faroe island. The first creation of the religion was on this island when a couple of people met together. The creation started with the diverse nature and the climate. The location suited the culture and created a more belief in the people. As the climate was more supportive of nature it build a strong foundation for the people. 
 
One of the important landforms is the inland valleys, this is important because the founders met here. The creation of the culture was in the beautiful and calm valley. This is where all the religious leaders meet for grant celebrations. 

The land is very naturalistic. All of the housing and buildings made by the settlers were kept naturalistic. Most of them are mainly tree houses and live up in the trees. The settlers try as much as possible to not build a lot on the land as they want to preserve the natural-looking environment. The land is covered with trees, grasses, flowers, animals, etc. The climate is cool and windy during the winter (45-70), and sunny during the summer (70-100).

Our ethnic food involves fruits, vegetables, and lots of carbs. Our national food is pasta. It is what helped feed the settlers when they settled on our land. Our national park has a Dr.Pepper and Sweet tea waterfalls. These were our creator's favorite drinks when they first settled here, making them our national drinks. Snacks that are well known here are strawberries and sugar, leaf chips, and blueberry trail mix. Different varieties of pasta are consumed daily, nearly one ton of pasta is consumed a month. Although these are the main food, the colonists also eat meat, egg, bread, barley, etc.

Our ethnic music consists of the theme followed by the VITAMIN STRING QUARTET, the music represents the answers to all the violence in the world. The violin resembles God, the savior in difficulty. The tone of the music reminds the people how peaceful the world and culture should be. The peg of the violin shows the role of the teacher(nature). As the peg controls the tone of the violin strings so does nature control the people. The Violin bow represents the other elements of the culture that connects with God. The main artist is Tom Tally and the genre is rock.

Our national symbol is a crystal tree. The history of the symbol was that it was the last thing created, so the founders wanted to reflect on the journey of building the culture by the symbol. The tree represents the connection that the culture has to the earth and nature. The crystals represent the founders and the foundation of the culture with their laws and rules. Each wire on the root and tree trunk represents growth and expertise. The multiple colors show the diversity in the culture and the unity of how they reflect. The main highlight of the symbol is the strong foundation with a diversity of people represented with the crystal and rock. This actually shows how unified the creators were when they created the religion and represents that they should have a mindset of keeping this goal always.

The political system describes the process of making government decisions. Our political system is a democratic republic. The citizens hold the power of the government, by voting for representatives for each element of the earth. The elements are split into districts. The earth, air, fire, and water each get one representative that they vote for every 5 years. The earth district’s representative is the main representative. Because the earth has a broader perspective on all things, and always keeps an open mind. Everyone 18 and over is allowed to vote, but only for their district, and only once every 5 years. You can be as young as 18 to be able to run for a representative spot for the district you are in. If one of the representatives is unable to run then there would be reelection for the particular element. If this happens for the main representative, there would be reelection.

An economic system is how societies/governments organize and distribute available resources, services, and goods across a geographic region or country. Our economic system involves money and the barter system. As the culture is uprooted in nature, the citizens often use the barter system for exchanging goods, this shows the connection between the citizens with nature and themselves. Dr. Pepper and sweet tea are the country's primary source of income. As the country has many natural sources of Dr.Pepper and sweet tea are the main exporters to the different parts of the world, this helps the country to continue to develop and thrive. There are no taxes in the country but instead, every family is required to give offerings to their god, Mante.

All the medicine is natural and comes from nature. Home remedies and herbal medicines can all be found at hospitals. But don’t be fooled by natural medicine because the main doctor is an amazing surgeon. We use the teachings of ayurvedic for treatments on body and mental health. The surgical instruments are also derived from ayurvedic. There are high technology surgical instruments in some places with specialized doctors. Technology plays a role in the citizen’s life but nature and science play a more important role.  There is a high invention from nature itself rather than technology. Natural medicine is more embraced than any other. There is a mix of high tech and tradition but more composed of traditional medicine. For example, doctors might use X-rays, CTs, and MRIs to diagnose but the treatment could be natural(ayurvedic), this can be used for different industries. There is still tradition uprooted in the culture more than high technology but still, they have technology in their lives and have not reverted to hunting.

Our main sport is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. In Jiu-jitsu not only do you strengthen your body but you strengthen your mind. You are able to be put in more difficult situations without cracking under pressure. In jiu-jitsu, it is all about balance, and finding the peace in the chaos just like how our culture is uprooted. The jiu-jitsu gyms can usually be found under a canopy of trees. While the sport is not required to play, the majority of the terra citizens practice jiu-jitsu on a daily basis, looking forward to the escape from reality. Most of the citizens focus on their physical and mental being over materialistic.

The development of education is progressing in the culture. As the founders are highly educated, the value of education is kept high. The study of science and physical education is the most popular class. There are different levels of classes like high school, college, and graduate school. Students are not required to go to college, still, education is encouraged. Students that go to college are required to take two classes of physical and mental health.  There is more youth who are getting educated than the elderly as they focus on keeping the family working. There is equal opportunity in education for all(rich, poor, males and females) so there is no difference between the rich, poor, men, and women. The high school is free but the college is not. There are 12 years of pre-college, 4 years of college and the graduate school depends on the major.

The men are typically 5’ 8 - 6’ 5, with a 6 pack. The women can be anywhere from 4’2 - 6’ 5, and also have 6 packs. They are usually more physically active and strong compared to other countries. The men and women are equal, it just depends on the family. Either the women are working and the men are at home, vice versa, or both parents are working. They work together as a team to get things done. The main characteristic of the family is everyone has equal positioning even it is from taking care of the children to working. Society is equal even in government and the workplace.

Brazil is the country that we are comparing to. The comparison of the difference in attire is the main focus. The women in Brazil and in our country wear almost the same dress but have a different structure to it. Usually, the structure of the Brazilian traditional is that they are built in a gown format but in our country, it is a single straight strand of solid colored cloth. We also have our traditional crown that differs from Brazil. As women’s clothes are similar to men's in our culture, this is ideally the same differentiation between men and women in Brazil. There is still a difference between the men's sandals.

The founders were from diverse backgrounds, as this occurred there was cultural convergence. Most of the founders were from the European countries, and the elements of their culture and their mindset have been converged with Terra, for example, language and attire, and sports. The culture diverged from these groups because of the natural disaster that occurred in Norway and randomly took some refugees to the island which later created this culture. As the economy keeps thriving there could be three possible conflicts: competition for natural resources, acceptance from other cultures, and occupancy of space. There are stronger countries like Denmark which likes to occupy the island because of natural resources and other countries like the United States needs the natural resources of Terra(Dr. Pepper and Sweet Tea) for their economy to thrive causing competition for natural resources. As this culture is situated on a small island it is difficult for getting acceptance of the culture from neighboring islands as it is hard to transport as the culture is isolated. Popular cultural trends are the use of technology/science, as over time there have been more improvements in technology/science this has caused more changes in day to day life of the people and more involvement in learning about their culture from the different parts of the world. This has made lives efficient and simpler for the people.

Brazil and Terra’s ethnic foods are similar to each other. In brazil, they love meat, rice, beans, etc. This is the main meal. In our culture, our main meal is usually pasta. This is where we differ. However, our similarities come in with our fruit. In Brazil, the Açaí bowl is very very popular, and in the Terra culture, we cherish and love our fruit as well. There are similar drinks that they drink in Brazil that we have in our culture ( Dr. Pepper and Sweat tea).
