         <description><![CDATA[<p>My students showed interest in food so I set up<br>the classroom into different restaurants they liked.&nbsp; We discussed what we knew about restaurants<br>and made a list of the ones we knew.&nbsp; We<br>made signs, menus, props such as, felt pizza, used the kitchen in the dramatic<br>play area.&nbsp; After that, the children got<br>into groups and played with the materials, had conversation with other<br>children, and acted out different roles. We also read books on restaurants and<br>clipped out different pictures of restaurants as well.</p>]]></description>
