Jamil’s Clever Cat is a folk tale from Bengal and tells the story of a cat who tricks a king and princess into thinking his master is rich.Through exploring the characters and their motivation in drama, this resource aims to move children from a literal reading of the story to a deeper consideration of the meaning within it.
