Differing relationships with policymakers

In some countries relationships with CE policymakers are less developed, or have reduced because of changes in government. In these countries, policy-wise the goal is more likely to be equipping CE entrepreneurs to engage with policymakers rather than policymakers being part of the program.

In some places, there may be new policymakers who can be invited to join the programme

In other places there are well established policymakers who will play a full part in the programme alongside CE practitioners

But need to recognise that data skills and data presentation skills may not be so high in other places

Across MENA need a cadre of people who can localise and deliver the programme - and mentoring scheme for trainers

Local trainers have the role of 'translating' the Uk content for the local audience

Grants for past participants

Small follow up grants are being piloted in Ukraine, to give capacity to build on the programme especially to small grass roots organisations

Localisation

In Ukraine, put national-level policy people in one group, regional people in another and another group for others

Now think there is a demand from beginners with a lower level of knowledge. For them they need language translation, and we have uploaded Ukrainian case studies.

But there is a great demand for local speakers
