Highly recommended for those who seek for something wholesome to watch. Also has an animated series with three seasons, which is where the live action series based from. This series is available to watch in Netflix.

TV Series: Shogun FX

I recently finished a historical tv series called "Shogun FX", the show is about a time period of Japan where peace was threatened by 5 powerful and ambition driven council of regents of the emperor(who was still a child) and the Portuguese whose only concerns were protecting their power and influence they had in Japanese society, spreading Catholicism, and increasing their profits.

The show was really enjoyable, informative, and thoroughly done. Although the show is only inspired by real-life events and not an accurate retelling of those events, it retained an accurate depiction of Japanese life, culture, societal hierarchies in the period, and how the Japanese viewed foreigners (Europeans) and vice versa.

Eurovision Song Contest 2024

You may have heard it from the wacky 2020 American film but the actual contest is real and has been held yearly (except 2020, due to Covid) since 1956.

It is a yearly song contest that showcases the wild, wacky, and awesome performances of artists from all over Europe. This year, the semi-finals happens on May 7 and 9 while the grand finals happens on May 11. However, the participating songs are out and can be streamed on your favorite streaming platforms.

I personally have been following this song contest yearly ever since the pandemic. Ever since I got hooked on the contest, a lot of new songs that have entered my playlist come from this contest.

House M.D.

"House M.D.," one of my current favorite series, follows Dr. House, a brilliant but grumpy doctor who leads a team of young physicians. Together, they solve tough medical cases with unconventional methods at Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital. It is a rollercoaster of drama, ethical conundrums, and personal battles, offering a thrilling glimpse into the highs and lows of the medical world. The series piqued my sincerest interests as something that not only goes against my usual tastes but provides a rich and meaningful way for me to pass the time. It keeps me mentally stimulated and begs the attention of deeper thought into the livelihood of not just doctors, but people in general.

KYGM by The Ridleys

"KYGM" is a newly released single by The Ridleys that I have been frequently listening to in the past few days. This along with another single called "Be with you" has been stuck in my playlist.

The Ridleys is a local pop indie band that I have been listening to since eleventh grade. I like the calming, gentle sound their music brings, and the sincerity in their songwriting.

Personally, I feel as if I have grown and matured along with the band's music -- from songs about your first encounters with love, to songs about the thoughts and feelings you cherish from a steady and lasting relationship. (Sounds cheesy, I know haha).

RuneScape is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed and published by Jagex, released in January 2001.

An old, classic MMORPG I used to play in elementary. I was happy it got a mobile version, so I play it again recently and also recover my 2011 account. The game is still very active. I want to level up my skills to 99 and try P2P features one day. Just listening the game music brings me back :')

Archetype: Mateus Asato

Mateus Asato is one of my Guitar Heroes. Last year, Neural DSP released MA's very own Archetype Plugin. I've been wanting and planning to get it ever since so I could try out his tone, the amps and effects that he uses, but it was really expensive.

It was on sale last week, so I watched a lot of other players using it so I could really convince myself to finally get it for myself.
