the show gave me the aloto family discord and i will forever be grateful for this most chaotic and unhinged group of people. i love y'all so much and i hope the server and friendships will exist well beyond the fandom and show. timezones might be annoying us all the time but they can't stop us from having the most fun together and i am so glad <3

This show gave me a community to explore so many questions I needed to explore. It gave me the courage to come out in areas of my life I’d been scared to do so. It gave me a place to encourage others, while being affirmed by others as well. It has opened up my creativity in ways I’ve not seen in years. It has allowed me to be apart of a global chosen family.

This show represents queerness in a way I’ve never seen before. It shows how their are infinite ways to be queer, and it shows how queer people form families. It shows that queer people have always existed, even when we were forced to hide. It is so important and it deserves many more seasons.

a league of their own literally changed my life. i’m eternally grateful for will and abbi and the whole crew and cast’s work. i love everyone involved in this project so much, i didn’t know d’arcy or abbi before this and now they’re two of my biggest inspirations. they made me feel so so much through their performances, chanté is an amazing actress, and i could say exactly the same about roberta, kelly, melanie, gbemi, priscilla, literally everyone (and when i say literally everyone i mean EVERYONE, seriously). we need so much more than four episodes. they deserve so much more than four final episodes. what we need is four more seasons, because this show is truly a masterpiece. i am non-binary and a lesbian and i have never ever been so in love with a show and its lgbt+ representation. thank you, greta, carson, jo, lupe, jess, esti, maybelle, shirley, terri, ana, beverly, max, clance, guy, esther, toni, edgar, gracie and bertie, thank you to all characters, who i owe everything to. thank you so much for making this incredible show and being incredible actors and actresses. i love y’all. from the bottom of my heart.

I absolutely love the representation this series has. I love the different story lines of each character. This is a series unlike any other I have ever seen. If this series is given more than the last four episodes it was offered I can assure it will make a difference for all your LGBT+ viewers and allies. I hope to see more Max and Esther scenes and see all the other amazing characters. This show has a special place in my heart. I truly hope it continues ❤️

Anyway, fingers crossed they get together in A League Of Their Own Season 2. This isn't just because the two has such an intimate, deep connection with each other that no other was able to jive with. Since this show is about diverse representation, jesslupe also brings to the table interracial relationships, lesbian co-parenting, and butch relationships with other butches. In general: it's fun, it makes sense, and why not?

Shoutout to the butches of A League Of Their Own for helping me realize that I am butch. Many thanks to Max, Lupe, Jo, and Jess for showing me who I can be, and who I actually am. This goes mostly to Max and Lupe since they were the most relatable characters for me. But also, for Jess, who reminded me of my childhood, and Jo, who showed me strength in being butch. Cheers!

If I didn't watch ALOTO, I think I'm still on the stage denying all of this and saying to myself that this is just a phase.

It's refreshing to see a character who you can relate to and see yourself. Jo taught me that it's okay to get out of your comfort zone to truly express yourself. Greta taught me that it's fine to stop running. Clance taught me the definition of a friend. Carson and Max taught me that there's nothing wrong in being... me.

If I didn't watch ALOTO, I'm still convincing myself that I am not normal.

I'm in my late 30's and always felt an affinity towards the LGBT+ community, but for the majority of my life have been in stubborn denial that I was actually a member of it.
Seeing these characters represented in such an honest and relatable way helped me come to terms with my own identity. I'm happier than I've ever been now and am even in my first relationship for over 10 years (and first real queer relationship).
This show means so much to me for helping me realise things about myself, but it's also a wonderful piece of storytelling with incredible characters, actors and script-writing. I've now rewatched it with my partner, too, and it's become a part of our story. I can't overplay what a huge role this show has had in my life.
The show, the people behind it, and the millions of fans all over the world who have been touched by it deserve more. #MoreThanFour

Renew for jesslupe! they'd bring so much to the table representation wise, it's so rare we get to see butch4butch in media, and to see it in them would be so well done. even though they weren't intentionally written to be taken as romantic in season 1, so many people have latched onto that and they would have such a good ship dynamic and development. they have such a deep and intimate connection that it only makes sense for them to become canon to me. Do it for the butches who like other butches !!!!!!

I’ve spent so much of my life being told what I can and can’t do- not only that but I’ve been told who I should and shouldn’t be. Not just regarding baseball but as a woman and about my sexuality; seeing this show really helped me feel less alone and like I was being seen.

Aloto moved me so much that I actually discussed its cancelation with my therapist (who btw is now binging the show because of it) and im so glad to be apart of this fight because other people deserve this kind of liberation.

I am not black myself, but it was so refreshing and eye-opening to see queer perspectives from black characters in media, especially from max, esther, uncle bertie and gracie and their house parties. and i know they're important to black lesbians, trans men and the black lgbtqia+ because it's so rare to see this kind of representation on screen. It also opens the discussion to non-blacks. It gives us a narrative to hear their stories.

I hope to see more maxesther in aloto s2, especially esther, whose backstory has yet to be revealed. What's her story? What are her motives, goals, dreams and fears? Where did she come from? Who is she under her bravado, confidence and passion for baseball? Her appearance in the final episodes of s1 was shortlived but impactful, leaving audiences blown away.

I am also excited to see where max and esther's dynamic as a couple brings them in s2, especially knowing max is just a baby gay while esther seemed more established. I love, love them so much!!

I love ALOTO so much but I especially have a deep love for Jess, Lupe, Max, & Jo, we rarely see butch lesbians or GNC people in a positive light and finally being able to see people like me shown on tv in a way that isn’t completely vilified or seen as disgusting and undesirable is something I honestly didn’t know I needed as much as I did. Bertie is also deeply special to me as I am a transmasculine person, he is so loving and caring and kind and beautifully written and acted. As a butch who (almost) exclusively dates other butches and loves other butches deeply I think a relationship between Jess and Lupe would be even more beautiful than what the show already has going with the two of them and so special to so many fans of the show who are the same as me or who just love the idea of Jess and Lupe in a relationship, butch4butch love is so special and beautiful & I think the people spamming this board are giving the ship a bad name and being childish. Thank you to Will Graham and Abbi Jacobson and everyone else who worked on ALOTO from the bottom of my heart, this show means so much to so many of us. Jesslupe forever! ❤️

jess and lupe are seriously so perfect to me, and we really need to see more of them for much longer than just a four episode season two! like i was just thinking about the charm school scene, and as jess is walking away, just as greta and carson follow after her and help, you can see lupe kind of tilt and lean forward like she's about to follow along too and then she balls her fists together... like !!! i don't know, their dynamic is just so well done and has so much to it; the way they're both butch so they can understand each other when it comes to everything relating to being butch on a completely different level that other non butches couldn't understand as deeply is just something i love so much and would love to see more of for more than the time we've been given. we deserve to see them progress :(
